Multiple Teams · Colonels hire new Head Boys Soccer Coach, Armando Jimenez


Recently, South Garland High School hired Armando Jimenez as the new boys head soccer coach for the Colonels.

Jimenez earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas-Arlington in 2009.

His most recent coaching job was as the Head Soccer Coach at Fort Worth Christian School in Fort Worth, TX.  He also has 11 years experience in boys and girls youth competitive soccer.

Jimenez played collegiality for TCU from 1998-1999 and played professionally as a reserve for the Dallas Burn of the MLS and played two years in the Brazilian First Division (Uniao Bandierantes F.C).

He will be teaching Social Studies at South Garland High School.
