The Losing Streak is DEAD; Offense breaks/ties multiple school records

The Colonels never trailed in Friday’s game versus WT White and was victorious 46-40, snapping a 25-game losing streak. the Colonels last won in 2014 against North Forney.

Multiple school records fell as the Colonels ran for 584 total yards eclipsing the 48-year old school record of 445 set back in 1969 vs  RL Turner.

Junior running back Jaquarion Turner also broke the school single game rushing record with his 408 yards and school record tying 5 TD’s.

Turner also tied the school record for points scored in a game with 32, tying Leon Clark’s performance against North Garland in 1991.

Junior wingback Kevonta Wilson also added 136 yards on the ground in the win.

Defensively, the Colonels were lead by player of the week DJ Williams, who was in his first game back since Week 1.
